Amber Heard ‘Scissors for Fingers’ Video Clip Goes Viral #Amber #Heard #Scissors #Fingers #Video #Clip #Viral Welcome to RKM Blog, here is the new story we have for you today:
Amber Heard backed Johnny Depp’s credentials as an actor by referencing his performance in Edward Scissorhands during her momentous interview with Savannah Guthrie.
Heard granted Guthrie her first interview since losing a defamation trial against ex-husband Depp. Previews are playing out on the Today Show on Tuesday and Wednesday before the full interview airs on Dateline Friday.
Guthrie posed hard-hitting questions to Heard as she reflected on her loss in the multi-million dollar trial.
During the closing statements, Depp’s attorney Camille Vasquez claimed Heard had put on the “performance of a lifetime” while testifying on the stand in the Fairfax County courtroom in Virginia.

“Says the lawyer, for the man who convinced the world he had scissors for fingers,” Heard said when asked about Vasquez’ statement by Guthrie.
“I’m the performer? I had listened to weeks of testimony insinuating that, or saying quite directly, that I’m a terrible actress,” Heard continued, “So I’m a bit confused how I could be both.”
With her “scissors for fingers” comment, Heard was referring to the 1990 Tim Burton movie Edward Scissorhands, where Depp played the ***ular role. It was a breakout role for Depp who was nominated for a Golden Globe award.
A clip of the exchange has been viewed more than 100,000 times online.
Heard’s reference echoes one made by her friend Eve Barlow days after the verdict was given.
“Protect the man with scissors for hands at all costs, especially at the cost of a woman’s right to speak to her experiences,” Barlow wrote on Twitter, mocking those who were p***ionately standing by Depp during the trial. Mentioning the shocking acts Depp was accused of, she wrote: “You don’t want to believe that your favorite pirate was capable of them. Must *** for you.”
You have more in common with Amber Heard than you think. She didn’t want to testify to the gruesome allegations in front of the world because the truth of them is painful. And guess what? You don’t want to believe that your favorite pirate was capable of them. Must *** for you.

Viewers of Guthrie’s interview with Heard seemed shocked and somewhat amused by Heard’s reference to Edward Scissorhands.
“At this point i think amber heard believes she was in a relationship with Edward Scissorhands,” wrote @crixmullen after the interview aired. Other social media users were quick to point out: “No one believed Edward Scissorhands was a real person.”
The brief preview of the the interview shared by Guthrie on Monday saw Heard mention how she doesn’t blame the jury for reaching their verdict. Depp fan account @depplyhaIIows suggested Heard isn’t giving the jury enough credit: “She is implying the jury saw Johnny Depp and Edward Scissorhands synonymously.”
The second preview of Guthrie’s interview with Heard will air on Wednesday on Today, while the full interview will air on a special edition of Dateline on NBC at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, June 17.
